Machine paint polishing — mobile paint correction by GTA Luxury Detailing Toronto

Paint Correction

Paint Correction in Toronto & the GTA

Over time, paint picks up swirl marks, wash scratches, water spots, and a hazy dullness that a wash alone can't fix. Paint correction machine-polishes the clear coat to remove those defects and bring back deep, reflective gloss. We do it fully mobile, at your home or workplace, and price it by quote based on your vehicle and its paint condition.

Priced by quote.Correction depends on paint condition and vehicle size. Send us a few photos and we'll estimate whether single-stage or two-stage is right, and what it costs.

What Paint Correction Removes

Swirl marks & wash-induced scratches
Buffer trails & holograms
Light to moderate scratches in the clear coat
Oxidation & dullness
Water spots & etching
Restored depth, gloss & reflection

Single-Stage vs Two-Stage

Single-stage correction. One refined polishing step that removes lighter swirls and haze and restores gloss. A strong choice for newer or well-kept vehicles that need a reset rather than heavy repair.

Two-stage correction. A heavier compounding step to cut deeper defects, followed by a polishing step to refine the finish. Best for older paint, heavier swirls, oxidation, and neglected vehicles.

Then protect it. Correction is the ideal moment to seal the finish. Pair it with a ceramic coating to lock in the result and make it last.

Paint Correction FAQ

How much does paint correction cost?

Paint correction is priced by quote because it depends on your vehicle's size, paint condition, and whether it needs a single-stage or two-stage correction. Send us photos or a description of the paint and we'll give you an estimate.

What's the difference between single-stage and two-stage correction?

Single-stage correction is one polishing step that removes lighter swirls and haze and restores gloss. Two-stage adds a heavier compounding step first, for deeper scratches, oxidation, and heavier defects. We recommend the right level after seeing the paint.

Will paint correction remove every scratch?

It removes swirls, buffer trails, water spots, and scratches that sit within the clear coat. Deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat to the base coat can't be fully polished out, but we can often greatly reduce their appearance.

Should I add a ceramic coating afterward?

It's the ideal time. Correcting the paint and then sealing it with a ceramic coating locks in the freshly restored finish and protects it. We can quote both together.

Do you do paint correction at my home?

Yes — it's fully mobile. We bring machine polishers, lighting, and power to your driveway or parking spot. Correction takes longer than a standard detail, so we'll confirm the time window when we quote.

Correcting and protecting go together. After correction, a ceramic coating keeps the finish glossy and easier to maintain. Explore Ceramic Coating → or see Exterior Detailing. Or build a standard detail.
